· How does Donna get that marvelous tone from her guitar? What effects does she use?
Donna plays a tobacco sunburst 1987 Gibson Les Paul Custom Lite plugged into a vintage 1969 Ampeg VT40. That's it -- no effects. She prefers No. 11 strings and the amp is powered by an original American-made RCA tube set -- the foreign-made tubes don't have the same sound. Back to top
